Post subject: 2:8-20 (The Hypocrites or the Terrorists?) Reply with quote

Hello Brothers and Sisters
The Quran told us a lot of things about the Hypocrites, in Arabic it sounds like this Munafiqoon or Munafiqeen for masculine (plural) and Munafiqaat for feminine (plural), the Quran used the word over 30 times, i.e. Allah is never shy to tell us about them directly using their descriptive name Munafiqoon, let????Ã???s look at a few examples where the Quran mentioned the Hypocrites:

And when it is said to them: Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger, you will see the hypocrites turning away from you with (utter) aversion.

[The Quran ; 4:61]

-> See, when the hypocrites are called to what Allah has revealed: you will see the hypocrites turning away from you with (utter) aversion., this verse actually can be talking about the Muslims as well, those Muslims who abandoned the well established Islamic doctrines, like Salat Hajj, and Fasting (like the ones on free-minds.org), so when we call those Muslims to come to what Allah has revealed they turn away with (utter) aversion, this is clearly seen on that web site and many Quran alone sites, please go and see it for yourself

In the next verse we read other pieces of information regarding the Hypocrites:

138: Announce to the hypocrites that they shall have a painful chastisement:

139: Those who take the unbelievers for guardians rather than believers. Do they seek honor from them? Then surely all honor is for Allah.

[The Quran ; 4:138-139]

-> See, the hypocrites are promised with a painful punishment Announce to the hypocrites that they shall have a painful chastisement

-> Those hypocrites will take the unbelievers as guardians rather than the believers, the webmasters of FM over there is giving moderation roles to some ignorant who deny the existence of Mohammad and badly manipulate the Arabic Quran to suit their foolish, unfounded, baseless and funny concepts yet they call themselves Muslims, , Those who take the unbelievers for guardians rather than believers. Do they seek honor from them?, see how Allah ended it with a tough question for them, : Do they seek honor from them?, Allah then answered the question because there is only one answer to that question: Then surely all honor is for Allah., fits like a glove to what happens on free-minds web site, would that mean there are hypocrites running that place?, hmmmm, according to 4:138-139 it sounds like it

Now those Hypocrites allow others to mock Allah signs, and if we stay with them then we are hypocrites like them:

And indeed He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's communications disbelieved in and mocked at do not sit with them until they enter into some other discourse; surely then you would be like them; surely Allah will gather together the hypocrites and the unbelievers all in hell.

[The Quran ; 4:140]

-> See, And indeed He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah's communications disbelieved in and mocked at do not sit with them until they enter into some other discourse;, and if we don????Ã???t leave, then we are hypocrites like them : surely then you would be like them; surely Allah will gather together the hypocrites and the unbelievers all in hell.

Sura no 4 is full of Hypocrites descriptions, let????Ã???s look at the following verses:

142: Surely the hypocrites strive to deceive Allah, and He shall requite their deceit to them, and when they stand up to prayer they stand up sluggishly; they do it only to be seen of men and do not remember Allah save a little.

143: Wavering between that (and this), (belonging) neither to these nor to those; and whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall not find a way for him.

144: O you who believe! do not take the unbelievers for friends rather than the believers; do you desire that you should give to Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?

145: Surely the hypocrites are in the lowest stage of the fire and you shall not find a helper for them.

[The Quran ; 4:142-145]

-> The hypocrites when they stand up to prayer they stand up sluggishly; they do it only to be seen of men and do not remember Allah save a little., the problem for the hypocrites is this : : Surely the hypocrites strive to deceive Allah, and He shall requite their deceit to them,

-> On FM web site you will see a lot of Muslims wavering between how many Salat we should do, some even claim that there is no such thing called physical salat : Wavering between that (and this), (belonging) neither to these nor to those; and whomsoever Allah causes to err, you shall not find a way for him.

-> Then we read the same warning again to those calling themselves believers but they take the unbelievers instead of the believers as Awlaia, translated as friends but it should be Protectors or Guardians : O you who believe! do not take the unbelievers for friends rather than the believers;, however by them ignoring this waring by Allah will put them in big problem indeed do you desire that you should give to Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?, see that is the manifest proof of their hypocrisy, again you will see this happening on FM with the naked eye.

-> Allah told us the Hell has seven levels of punishment in another verse, the Hypocrites will reside in the worst one of them:: Surely the hypocrites are in the lowest stage of the fire and you shall not find a helper for them

Again, the same doom is promised to the hypocrites:

Allah has promised the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women and the unbelievers the fire of hell to abide therein; it is enough for them; and Allah has cursed them and they shall have lasting punishment.

[The Quran ; 9:68]

-> You should take note that Allah also mentioned the females hypocrites along with the males in here, have you ever seen a religiously hypocrite woman?, well I have

Here is an order from Allah to be tough with the hypocrites, now I wonder did Allah tell Mohammad who is hypocrite and who is not?, possibly but not likely, however, that order applies to all Muslims and how we recognise the hypocrites?, of course from their actions and what they say when compared to the teachings of the Quran:

73: O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.

74: They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam, and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Messenger enriched them out of His grace; therefore if they repent, it will be good for them; and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper.

[The Quran ; 9:73-74]

-> See the order : O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them;, see how the hypocrites must be calling themselves believers against the unbelievers and the hypocrites, this is actually good for them because it gives them a chance to avoid this : and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.

-> Here it is clear as light that those Hypocrites were Muslimoon and they committed Kufr, they actually don????Ã???t realize it too : They swear by Allah that they did not speak, and certainly they did speak, the word of unbelief, and disbelieved after their Islam,, again this is seen with the naked eyes on FM, then Allah described them further, it sounds like they are cursed by Allah and His prophet and they had determined upon what they have not been able to effect, and they did not find fault except because Allah and His Messenger enriched them out of His grace;, and here what is good for them (those opposing being tough with them need to shut up indeed) : therefore if they repent, it will be good for them, hmm, what else Allah can say?, ok: and if they turn back, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall not have in the land any guardian or a helper.

Sura no. 63 is named the Hypocrites, it consists of 11 verses, the word Hypocrites was used 4 times, here is 2 of those 4:

When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah's Messenger; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.

[The Quran ; 63:1]

-> Therefore we learn that the Hypocrites will not oppose Mohammad face to face when they are called for the message of Islam, rather they will show acceptance but Allah knows that they are liars: When the hypocrites come to you, they say: We bear witness that you are most surely Allah's Messenger; and Allah knows that you are most surely His Messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are surely liars.

From all the above we can have a good understanding to who are the hypocrites, in verses 2:2-20 Allah has talked about 3 groups of people, the first and second group descriptions were clear enough for the traditionalists to understand well which are (the believers and the unbelievers) and I totally agree with them, however the third group and the mostly talked about within those verses (2:2-20) were understood wrongly by them, they thought that the verses are referring to the hypocrites which I totally disagree with.
, and this will be the subject of my next comment

Peace be with all

Hello All,

Today we will look at 2:2-20 and see for ourselves if the group mentioned in 2:8-20 are the Hypocrites or not.

Sura 2 Al-Baqara, which means The Cowis the longest Sura in the Quran and consists of 286 verses, this Sura has heaps of information regarding many things like mankind history on earth, explaining who is our one and only God Allah, and sure the story of Adam and Eve and many more stories about the Jews, what is striking in this Sura is verses 2 to 20, in these verses Allah is telling us about 3 groups of people, the Quran was clear as light in the descriptions for these groups of people, in fact the Quran is always clear as light in 95% of its contents, it was designed this way as stated in it numerous times, so let's start by looking at what the Quran said about these 3 groups of people, all the verses mentioned are [The Quran ; 2:2-20]

The first Group ' verses 2-5 ' The believers

(2) This is the Book (The Quran); in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;

(3) Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;

(4) And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter.

(5) They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.

[the Quran ; 2:2-5]
-> The believers descriptions are very clear, extracted from the above verses as follow:

1. verse 2:2, This is the Book (The Quran); in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;, i.e the Quran is their guidance and they fear Allah

2. verse 2:3, Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;, i.e they believe in the UNSEEN, they are steadfast in prayer and they give money to the poor and the needy

3. verse 2:4, And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter., i.e the believe in the Quran, they believe in previous inspirations, and they have the assurance of the hereafter

4. verse 2:5, They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper., i.e they follow the true guidance from Allah and they are the ones that will prosper

The second Group ' verses 6-7 ' The unbelievers

(6) As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.

(7) Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur).

[the Quran ; 2:6-7]
-> The unbelievers' descriptions are also very clear, extracted from the above verses as follow:

1. verse 2:6, As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.. i.e. They reject faith (rejected the Quran), they will never believe wether they are warned or not, please bear in mind that in this verse Allah is calling the unbelievers Al Lazina Kafaro, while I understand that He called them as such, the believers still need to identify them so we can deliver the warning to them, on FM currently they are wasting their time discussing the subject of calling the unbelievers Kafiroon, this is really funny, fine let me call them UNBELIEVERS then, see how funny it is, well they can't deny now that those like Danish Magi, Kyle and Enquirer are unbelievers, they bloody admitted that they DON'T BELIEVE WHAT IS IN THE QURAN, I told you it is funny

2. verse 2:7, Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur)., i.e. they have seals on their hearts and hearings set upon by Allah as a result of their arrogance, they have veils over they eyes as well, and they will incur a great punishment for their arrogance, this seal and veil set by Allah actually explains why those unbelievers will not believe wether they are warned or not as stated in verse 2:6, it is like they have been cursed by Allah due to their arrogance and their biased hearts and minds

The third Group ' verses 8-20 ' The Hypocrites or The Terrorists

I will walk you through it verse by verse while extracting the descriptions, to make it as clear as possible:

(8) Of the people there are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day; but they do not (really) believe.

[the Quran ; 2:8]
-> i.e. They say they believe in Allah and the Last Day, BUT they do not really believe

(9) Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!

[the Quran ; 2:9]
-> i.e. They deceive Allah, they deceive the believers (the first group), however they actually deceive themselves and they DO NOT REALISE THEIR SELF DECEPTION, this is without a doubt apply to the thugs who call themselves believers and they kill innocent people in the name of Allah, now , what more deception to Allah than beheading an innocent man while cheering with Allah's name?, as well, can you see that those confused believers deceive the believers as well as stated. This can happen in two ways as we see it today, deception to all believers by misleading the whole world and showing the innocent religion as a barbaric one, as well trying to recruit the young believers and convince them by deception to commit atrocities by strapping bombs around them and blow away themselves including any innocent in the vicinity, the Quran told us in this verse that the those only deceive themselves and they do not realise it

(10) In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).

[the Quran ; 2:10]
-> i.e. their hearts are full of diseases, this is a perfect and accurate description to the terrorists, what sort of ill heart a person may have to behead or order to behead an innocent man?, well, a very sick heart for sure, this heart sickness is increased by Allah because of their submission to Satan, it is like Allah will make them commit more crimes so THE GRIEVOUS IS THE PENALTY THEY INCUR because they are FALSE TO THEMSELVES, what an accuracy describing those terrorists:

(11) When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth, they say: Why, we are the ones who make things right!"

[the Quran ; 2:11]
-> i.e. when we call those confused believers to stop their atrocities and the mischief on earth they commit, they respond by saying that they are the ones who are doing things right, another perfect description to the terrorists

(12) Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.

[the Quran ; 2:12]
-> i.e. Allah is telling us not to believe those confused believers (who claim they are the ones who are doings things right) by confirming to us that they are indeed suretythe ones who are making mischief on earth and still do not realise it, another perfect terrorist description again

(13) When it is said to them: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: Shall we believe as the fools believe? Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.

[the Quran ; 2:13]
-> i.e. those confused believers were called to believe as the normal believers do (the first group) but they respond by saying that the normal believers are fool, and Allah is telling us that indeed suretythey are the real fools and they still do not know it

(14) When they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe;" but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say: "We are really with you: We (were) only jesting."

[the Quran ; 2:14]
-> i.e. some of those confused believers pray with us in the mosques showing that they are believers those are the unknown recruits, but when they meet their leaders in hiding their evil onesthey say they were only jesting them (the believers), I see the evil ones as the known terrorists leaders like Laden and Zarqawi, in fact the Quran clearly told us that there are Human Shaiatans, here it is:

And thus did We make for every prophet an enemy, the Shaitans from among men and jinn, some of them suggesting to others varnished falsehood to deceive (them), and had your Lord pleased they would not have done it, therefore leave them and that which they forge.[/u]"

[the Quran ; 6:112]

-> See, شَيَاطِينَ الإِنسِ وَالْجِنِّ, the Shaitans from among men and jinn

(15) Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (To and fro).

[the Quran ; 2:15]
-> i.e. Allah is very angry with those confused believers and consequently this what should happen: Allah will throw back their mockery on them, He will give them rope in their trespasses and they will wander like blinds

(16) These are they who have bartered Guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction,

[the Quran ; 2:16]
-> i.e. those confused believers took error in place of guidance, and their traffic is profitless (think about the ransoms they asked for the kidnapping they did, or possibly the drug dealing in Afghanistan), however Allah is telling us that they are indeed lost the true direction

(17) Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in utter darkness. So they could not see.

[the Quran ; 2:17]
-> i.e. Allah is giving us a similitude about those confused believers, it is sort of someone who lit a light, then the light lighted all around him and suddenly Allah will take their light away and leave them in darkness, well I see this verse as saying that those confused believers will succeed in some of their sick atrocities it lighted all around him but the bottom line is their final destination is indeed going to be darkness.

(18) Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path).

[the Quran ; 2:18]
-> i.e. They are Deaf, Dumb and Blind, indeed the verse is telling us that they will not return to the right path, another perfect description that fits a confused believer who is a terrorist

(19) Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!

[the Quran ; 2:19]
-> this verse really stroke me hard, because it is giving us another similitude about the those confused believers, the similitude goes like this, they are walking in darkness while there is thunder rain and lighting , and those confused believers are too scared from this hostile environment and they keep pressing their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder clap while they are in terror of death, Subhan Allah, this is like them being bombarded by the allies, what do you think?

BUT WHAT STROKE ME EVEN HARDER IS THE WORD LADENin the sentence is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky as translated by Yusuf Ali, sure I know that the verse is not talking about Bin Laden, but what an amazing coincidence that is brothers and sisters, I actually laughed indeed, I love the Quran, how accurate it is brothers and sisters

(20) The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.

[the Quran ; 2:20]
-> This is the rest of the similitude started in verse 19, it shows how this hostile environment will destroy those confused believers

Ok brothers and sisters, this is very accurate stuff and very explicit to the terrorists as far as I'm concerned, it is great that it is in the Quran first page, when I discussed it with most reasonable and open minded Muslims, most agreed, some tried to tell me that it talks about the hypocrites "Al Munafiqoon", the problem here will be, the Quran is never shy to call the Hypocrites "Hypocrites", as I explained earlier there is a whole sura called "The Hypocrites" , this sura consists of 11 verses, in 8 of those verses the Quran talks about the Hypocrites and call them Hypocrites 4 times, while in the 13 verses 2:8:20, it never used the word Hypocrites to describe them ONCE, why is that brothers and sisters?, well the only answer I can see is simply Allah is not talking about the hypocrites in 2:8-20, I can put it to you in a simple manner:

Every Terrorist is a Hypocrite BUT not every Hypocrite is a Terrorist

I hope it is clear now,

If you look at the descriptions again, I have to say that you do not call a hypocrite to believe as the others believe because a hypocrite is already showing that he is a believer. further more, I will agree that some of the descriptions above fit a hypocrite, but NOT all descriptions fit a hypocrite, please go through it verse by verse again (8-20) and see for yourself if every description fits a hypocrite, MY STRONGEST ARGUMENT THAT IT HAS TO BE THE TERRORISTS BECAUSE ALLAH NEVER CALLED THEM HYPOCRITES IN THOSE 13 VERSES ONCE, AND LOGICALLY SPEAKING, IF ALLAH NEVER USED THE WORD HYPOCRITE ONCE TO DESCRIBE THOSE PEOPLE THEN MOST LIKELY IT IS NOT ABOUT THE HYPOCRITES, AND IF YOU LOOK AT THE DESCRIPTIONS AGAIN YOU WILL SEE THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE WILL FIT A TERRORIST BUT NOT A HYPOCRITE

This is yet another example of the miracle of the Quran, it describes life as we see it at any generation.

Peace be with all
